Careers at PropTechVision Inc.
Data Analyst
Help us shape the next generation of data products for real-estate operators. We are building a modern, AI-enabled analytics platform and need a Data Analyst who enjoys blending data engineering, BI, and business strategy.
About Company
PropTechVision Inc. is the real estate development company, based in U.S. By leveraging AI, machine learning, big data, and cloud technology, we aim to streamline operations, empower decision-making, and foster business growth for our clients in a cutting-edge technical environment.
About Role
Our company is building a modern data platform for real-estate and we’re looking for a Data Analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of data engineering, analytics and business strategy. This remote role is tailored to people who love translating complex real-estate data into clear insights, enabling self-service analytics and AI-driven, natural-language–to-SQL query systems. You’ll partner with asset managers, finance teams and executives to design flexible data architectures and deliver dashboards that help decision-makers understand key metrics like occupancy rates, net operating income and cap rates. If you have a curious, collaborative mindset and are excited about AI and cloud technologies, we’d like to hear from you.
In a typical day at our company, in the role of Data Analyst, you will:
- Frame ambiguous questions into data problems. Collaborate with asset managers and executives to turn business needs into analytical hypotheses. Use real-estate domain knowledge to identify and map relationships between properties, leases, tenants and payments, then design normalized schemas that clarify concepts like occupancy or capitalization rates.
- Develop semantic and context layers for AI agents. Work with data engineers to build a semantic layer that bridges natural language and SQL. Document business terms and annotate join relationships so that text-to-SQL models can translate plain language into accurate queries. This includes preparing sample queries, implementing role-based access controls, and using retrieval-augmented generation to improve accuracy.
- Transform and model data. Ingest raw data from transaction systems, spreadsheets and third-party sources; perform ETL/ELT processes and engineer features relevant to KPIs such as net operating income, revenue per square foot and lease renewal rates. Clean and normalize data to ensure quality and trustworthiness.
- Design dashboards and forecasts. Create interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker to visualize occupancy rates, cap rates and other metrics. Frame insights in terms of impact, translating complex analysis into actionable recommendations for leasing, budgeting and investment decisions.
- Enable flexible architecture. Collaborate with engineers to build an open, API-driven architecture on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud). Integrate sources like Google Sheets or external APIs and ensure pipelines are secure, version-controlled and documented. Use Git and Airflow (or similar) to automate data workflows.
- Communicate insights and collaborate. Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using data storytelling. Communicate progress, manage expectations and ensure alignment with business goals. Act as a translator between the data platform and business teams, ensuring that analytics projects lead to actionable decisions.
What will help you succeed in this role?
- Strong SQL and programming skills. Proficiency in SQL is essential for querying and transforming data; familiarity with Python or .NET/C# for scripting or automation is a plus. Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) and an understanding of NoSQL systems support flexible data modeling.
- Data modelling and ETL/ELT expertise. Ability to design normalized schemas, develop data pipelines and ensure data quality. You should be comfortable cleaning data, handling inconsistencies and documenting processes to maintain integrity.
- Visualization and storytelling. Skilled at creating dashboards and compelling narratives that translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights. Knowledge of tools like Tableau, Power BI or Looker will help you craft interactive reports. Communicating findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders is critical.
- Domain knowledge. Familiarity with real-estate metrics such as occupancy rate, net operating income (NOI) and cap rate helps you contextualize analyses. Understanding lease structures, tenant retention and property valuations enables deeper insights into asset performance.
- Interest in AI and natural-language interfaces. Curiosity about text-to-SQL and generative AI technologies will allow you to support AI agents that convert plain language questions into SQL. Text-to-SQL systems use NLP and large language models to make data access more accessible, and you will help annotate datasets and implement retrieval-augmented generation to improve accuracy.
- Cloud and API familiarity. Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and experience working with APIs, Google Docs or collaborative tools. Understanding how to build flexible, secure architectures that support self-service analytics is beneficial.
- Communication and collaboration. Strong interpersonal skills allow you to translate technical results into business language. You should enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and be comfortable presenting insights to executives and non-technical colleagues.
- English proficiency. B2/C1 level English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively with a distributed team.
What you get from us
- Real business impact from day one—your work shapes leasing, pricing, budgets, and investment decisions.
- Modern cloud data stack (AWS, open APIs) with room to influence the architecture.
- Supportive, multinational team that values clarity, collaboration, and quality.
- Access to top-tier training, mentorship, and hands-on learning.
- Clear growth path across analytics, data engineering, and AI/text-to-SQL agents.
- Competitive pay, paid time off, and benefits.
- Fully remote with flexible hours and close collaboration with US-based stakeholders.
