Intro
A multifamily investment group replaced siloed leasing and finance systems with a unified, real-time data platform. This integration eliminated redundant data entry and errors, giving teams one trusted source for portfolio information and one-click investor reports. Challenge
Multiple disconnected systems for leases, property management, and payments forced staff to re-enter the same information in different places. Data often fell out of sync, making it hard to get timely, accurate insights. How It Works Now
We implemented an automated cloud-based workflow that connects the leasing platform and the financial system. Now, whenever a key event happens – say a new lease is signed or a rent payment comes in – the system instantly updates all relevant databases in real time. Using AWS cloud services, this event-driven integration keeps leasing, property management, and finance data in sync automatically. The solution runs without any on-premise servers and scales on demand, so it can handle heavy usage (it’s processing over 20,000 searches and thousands of payments each month) without slowing down. By designing around real-time events, we ensured each department is always looking at the same up-to-date information instead of waiting for manual updates.
